Bailey Hughes recognized as Lycoming College IMS Scholar

Bailey Hughes, a senior with a major in financial accounting from Forest City, Pa., was recently recognized by the Institute of Management Studies as a Management Scholar at Lycoming College's annual Honors Convocation in April.

In order to be accepted as a management scholar, students must have a declared major or minor in one or more of the IMS departments and have an overall GPA of 3.25 or higher. Before graduation, students must successfully complete two semester hours of management scholars seminars and successfully complete an appropriate internship, practicum, independent study or special project approved by the IMS Director. Management scholar seminars give students an opportunity to study topics that are timely and important, but might not be covered in regular classes.
