Decker inducted into religious studies honor society

Lindsay Decker, a senior with a major in archaeology and history, was inducted into the Lycoming College chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa, the honor society for religion and theology students, during a ceremony in April.

Theta Alpha Kappa encourages, recognizes, and maintains excellence in religious and theological studies within baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate degree programs. Members must have completed at least three semesters at Lycoming College and at least twelve semester credits in courses representing the study of religion; have attained a GPA of at least 3.5 in these courses and a 3.0 GPA in their total program; and been ranked in the upper 35 percentile of their class at the time of induction.

Steven R. Johnson, Ph.D., professor and chair of the religion department, is the advisor for Lycoming's chapter.
