Duncan receives Lycoming College Mathematical Science Award

Rachel Duncan, with a major in actuarial mathematics and mathematics from York Haven, Pa., was recently presented with the Mathematical Science Award at Lycoming College's annual Honors Convocation in April.

The Mathematical Science Award is presented annually to students who demonstrate outstanding achievement in mathematics colloquium. The mathematics colloquium offers students the opportunity to investigate advanced topics on their own and make effective presentations within the department and the college community.
