Herzing receives Lycoming College Lyon Prize in English

Sophie Herzing, a senior with a major in creative writing and painting from Saint Marys, Pa., was recently presented with the Phoebe R. Lyon Prize in English at Lycoming College's annual Honors Convocation in April.

The prize is given annually to a graduating senior who has achieved outstanding attainments in the study of English through a combination of writing skills, grade point average and service to the department.
