A breakthrough season for junior forward Jordan Lazarich (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) continued on Tuesday, Nov. 29, when the Lycoming College women's soccer player became the first in program history to earn National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors.

Lazarich, a Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth honoree, earned a spot on the third team in the region, which also includes the MAC Freedom, Centennial, North East Athletic, Landmark and Colonial States Athletic Conferences.

Lazarich finished her junior year with 19 goals and 40 points. The 5-7 forward won two MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week honors during the season, scoring two goals and an assist in a 3-2 win over Lebanon Valley to earn it on Oct. 24, and posting back-to-back hat tricks against Summit and Pitt-Bradford, on Sept. 6, a feat that also helped her earn the NSCAA National Division III Player of the Week award.

She made an impact on a national level, leading the nation in goals heading into the month of October. She ended the year 20th in Division III and second in the MAC Commonwealth with 19 goals, while her six game-winning goals were 19th in the nation. She also finished third in the MAC Commonwealth with 2.11 points per game.

Lazarich's name has risen to the top of the Warrior record book in several categories through her first three years, as she also set single-season records for goals per game (1.00) and game-winning goals (6) this season. She set career records for points (103), goals (47) and game-winning goals (12).

Also a standout lacrosse player, Lazarich was a First Team All-MAC Commonwealth midfielder in 2016, finishing second in the MAC with 5.41 points per game and 1.82 assists, while her 3.59 goals per game were third in school history.

The Warriors finished the 2016 season with a 7-9-3 overall mark and a 1-6-1 mark in the MAC Commonwealth.
