Lycoming College student, Hayley Pisciotti completes Wise Internship at the Heart of Williamsport

Hayley Pisciotti from Naperville Ill., worked with a nonprofit organization by the name of The Heart of Williamsport to help revitalize the community of Williamsport in stages. Their current stage emphasizes community outreach using social media and local events to encourage members to share their opinions about the city. She worked on several communications projects since the beginning of my WISE internship. Most of the projects emphasized presenting written value statements about Williamsport that the organization has put together by writing blog posts and managing their social media accounts. Heart of Williamsport's goal is to obtain feedback from the community to share ideas for action in the next stage.
