Lycoming College student Lindsay Decker has been inducted into religious studies honor society

The Lycoming College chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa, the honor society for religion and theology students, recently inducted Lindsay Decker during a ceremony in March. Rev. John Charnock was the keynote speaker at the event.

Theta Alpha Kappa encourages, recognizes and maintains excellence in religious and theological studies within baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate degree programs. Members must have completed at least three semesters at Lycoming College and at least twelve semester credits in courses representing the study of religion; have attained a GPA of at least 3.5 in these courses and a 3.0 GPA in their total program; and been ranked in the upper 35 percentile of their class at the time of induction.

Steven R. Johnson, Ph.D., professor and chair of the religion department, is the advisor for Lycoming's chapter.
